Donald V. Williams, 94, of Greensburg, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018. He was born Jan. 9, 1924, in Connellsville, the son of the late James L. and Alice Bechtal Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Mae Cropp; and a brother, J. Lyell Williams. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Agnes Bendick Williams; son, David Williams, of Greensburg; daughter, Becky (John) Lodor, of Irwin; grandchildren, Jack D. (Amity) Kramer, of Mt. Pleasant, and Stephanie (Michael) Johns, of Pittsburgh; great-grandchildren, Emily and Jack A. Kramer, and Josiah and Judah Johns. Donald was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church of Greensburg. Prior to retirement, he worked as a draftsman for Brown Boveri Inc. in South Greensburg. His interests included American history, especially the Civil War.
Family and friends will be received from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at which time parting prayers will be held, at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St, Greensburg, followed at 11 a.m. by a Mass at Our Lady of Grace Church. Entombment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
