Mary Jane Brinker, 87, of Greensburg, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018. She was born January 3, 1931, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Earl “Lefty” and Bessie Deremer Hite. She was a member of the First Reformed United Church of Christ in Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Robert Hite, and two sisters, Lorraine Truxell and Bette Ruffner. She is survived by her husband, Walter Brinker. They proudly celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in June surrounded by their loving family. She is also survived by three daughters: Sandie (Larry) Fink, of Sylvania, OH, Terri (Jim) Garlick, of Woodstock, GA, and Janice (Dan) Stanley, of Greensburg; seven grandchildren: Cara, Kristina, Sarah, Rachel, Christopher, Hannah, and Matthew; three great-grandchildren: Abegail, Makayla, and Mason; a brother, Bill (Ruthie) Hite, of Greensburg; two sisters: Joanne Noel, of Latrobe, and Lou Cavanaugh, of Hilton Head, SC; a sister-in-law, Ruth Hite, of Penn; and many nieces and nephews. Her family meant more to her than anything, and she will be truly missed by all. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, at BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg.
